Refund Policy

Alpz – Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Alpz, we understand that plans can change. Below is our refund and cancellation policy, designed to balance flexibility for our clients with respect for our guides’ time and logistics.

1. Deposits & Bookings

  • A deposit is required to confirm your booking and reserve your chosen date and activity.

  • This deposit is non-refundable unless specified otherwise in this policy.

2. Weather Conditions

  • All outdoor activities are subject to weather conditions.

  • If the weather is deemed safe and shows no signs of danger, the decision to proceed rests solely with the guide.

  • If the guide decides the activity cannot proceed due to unsafe weather conditions, we will offer a reschedule of the activity at no extra cost. Refunds will only be issued upon presentation of a valid medical certificate preventing participation on the new date.

3. Client Cancellations or Changes

  • If you are unable to attend your booking for any reason, you must notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

  • With 48h notice:

    • Your booking can be rescheduled to a later available date.

    • If you choose to cancel rather than postpone, your deposit will be forfeited.

  • If you provide less than 48h notice, your deposit will be lost and the session cannot be rescheduled.

4. No-Shows or Late Arrivals

  • Failure to attend your booking without notice will result in a complete loss of your deposit.

  • Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in the activity being shortened or cancelled, at the guide’s discretion, without refund or reschedule.

5. Medical Issues

  • If a medical reason prevents you from attending, you must provide a valid medical certificate to request a refund or reschedule.

  • Without a certificate, the above cancellation terms will apply.

6. Force Majeure

  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.), Alpz reserves the right to cancel or postpone activities. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule, but refunds are not guaranteed.

7. Guide Cancellation

  • In the rare case where a guide is forced to cancel due to illness or emergency, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or rescheduling.
